How to Clean the Drain Pump Filter

1. Open the small service flap located at the bottom right corner of your washing machine front panel.
2. Place a shallow tray or a thick towel on the floor to catch the residual water that will spill out.
3. Slowly unscrew the filter cap in a counter-clockwise direction, allowing the water to drain out gradually into your tray.
4. Once all water has drained, remove the filter completely and rinse it under running water to remove lint, coins, or debris.
5. Check the pump impeller inside the housing to ensure it spins freely and is not obstructed by foreign objects.
6. Reinsert the filter, tighten it firmly clockwise, and close the service flap.

1. Check the drain hose behind the machine to ensure it is not kinked, bent, or crushed against the wall.
2. Verify that the drain hose is not inserted too deeply into the standpipe, which can cause a siphoning effect.

4. Run a 'Spin/Drain' cycle after cleaning the filter to test if the machine clears the water effectively.
