Manual Emergency Drain and Door Release

1. Turn off the power and unplug the washing machine from the wall socket to ensure safety.
2. Locate the small square service panel at the bottom front of your machine and open it.
3. Place a shallow tray or towel under the drain hose to catch excess water.
4. Pull out the emergency drain tube, remove the plug, and allow all water to drain completely into your container.
5. Once the water is fully drained, locate the emergency release tab (usually a plastic ring or lever) near the filter and pull it gently to unlock the door.

Safe Steps to Try Before Calling a Technician

1. Check if the 'Child Lock' icon is illuminated on the display; if so, disable it by holding the designated button combination for 3 seconds.
2. Run a 'Spin Only' cycle to see if the machine can clear remaining water and reset the door sensor.
3. Ensure the drum is not overloaded, as heavy, wet clothes can sometimes press against the door lock sensor.
4. Gently press against the door while simultaneously pressing the 'Start/Pause' button to relieve pressure on the latch.
