How to Clean the Debris Filter

1. Locate the small square panel on the bottom right front of your washing machine.
2. Place a shallow tray or towel on the floor to catch any residual water that may spill out.
3. Open the panel, pull out the small emergency drain tube, remove the cap, and drain the water into your tray.
4. Once the water stops, turn the large circular filter cap counter-clockwise to remove it completely.
5. Clear out any lint, coins, hair, or debris trapped inside the filter housing and rinse the filter under running water.
6. Reinsert the filter, turn it clockwise until tight, and replace the emergency drain tube cap before closing the panel.

Safe Steps to Try Before Calling a Technician

1. Check the drain hose behind the machine to ensure it is not bent, kinked, or crushed against the wall.
2. Ensure the drain hose is not inserted too deeply into the standpipe, as this can create a siphon effect.
3. Verify that the drain hose outlet is not submerged in water or blocked by debris in your home's drainage pipe.
