How to Clean Your LG Drain Pump Filter

1. Locate the small access panel on the bottom front corner of your washing machine.
2. Place a shallow tray or a thick towel on the floor to catch the residual water that will flow out once the filter is opened.
3. Open the drain tube cap to drain the remaining water into your tray, then unscrew the large circular filter cap by turning it counter-clockwise.
4. Remove any debris, coins, lint, or hair trapped inside the filter housing and rinse the filter under running water.
5. Reinsert the filter, tighten it firmly clockwise, and close the drain tube cap before replacing the access panel.

1. Check the drain hose at the back of the machine to ensure it is not kinked, bent, or crushed against the wall.
2. Inspect the end of the drain hose where it connects to your standpipe or sink to ensure it is not clogged with lint or debris.
